Ann Arbor Photographer specializing in Senior Portraits, Family Portraits & capturing life's biggest moments!

Hello

Good to Meet You!

Hi There!

I proudly hail from Ypsilanti, and have lovingly restored the 19th century farmhouse that has been in my family for over 100 years. I feel so lucky to live on the same land I grew up on - I'm so close to family that it’s just a quick walk down the lane to see them. I never know what might be sprouting up in my dad’s garden – it’s always a treat to walk back home with farm-fresh treats! My nieces and nephew live down the road as well, and are a huge part of my life – they call me Cece, and they have influenced my love of children’s portraiture. I have been capturing all of them with my camera since the day each baby was born.

My family farm has influenced me in many ways, including my love of the outdoors. Photographing nature is a daily habit for me, as I am surrounded by it. I am very active in the local Ypsi community, loving it's quirks and always supporting local shops, artists, and small businesses. I have wanderlust and love to travel and document new places – my biggest adventure being Iceland! I found my love for photography as a teenager in high school yearbook class and never looked back.

When I’m not working you might find me biking the B2B trail, having dinner in Depot Town, taking a hike with my girlfriend & her daughter, kayaking up the Huron River, checking out some art at the UMMA or heading up north to our family cottage with a book and a camera!

Fun facts about me -

  • I love all things nature - I'm doing what I can to save our pollinators
  • I'm mostly a vegetarian but I've been known to occasionally eat bacon
  • I'm a huge fan of all things "up north" especially our great lakes
  • I love a good outdoor concert
  • I definitely have wanderlust and love to travel even if it's within the mitten state
  • I'm obsessed with finding Petoskey stones
  • I love all of Michigan's seasons especially fall

Life is an awfully big adventure...

I value diversity and believe that:

Love is Love • Black Lives Matter • Kindness is Everything!

About

I am an Ypsilanti based photographer who specializes in documentary-style weddings, child and family portraits, senior portraits and head shots.   By working from my unique farmhouse studio, I am able to offer a relaxed comfortable environment along with a spacious outdoor setting.  It is rewarding for me to capture the events or a time in a persons life, by doing this I am able to give back images they will treasure for a lifetime.  It is especially important to capture kids as they grow, I discovered that when my niece was born 15 years ago.  Her life is very well documented and now I can look back at those photos and cherish the sweet moments.  It truly is amazing how quickly they grow!

I feel so lucky to live on the same land that I grew up on, with family living close enough to walk to!  I enjoy spending time with my awesome nieces and nephew, taking walks with my faithful furry friend Cleo, and hanging out with friends and family.
